New Substitute Paraprofessional and Substitute Teacher Site

Beginning in August 2013, the Summit County ESC will begin taking applications for substitute Paraprofssionals (Parapros). Appliants can go to our updated website at http://www.cybersummit.org/HumanResources/SubInfo/Default.aspx to learn about the necessary requirements, fill out the online application, and find out the next drop off dates for completed packets.
Paraprofessionals are defined as those individuals who work as student aides, student attendants or classroom assistants. These positions require a high school diploma and NOT a 4-year degree like substitute teachers do. Paraprofessionals are required to obtain an Educational Aide Permit.
