2015 Teacher of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Lifetime Educator will also be chosen
CUYAHOGA FALLS, OHIO—April 29, 2015—The Summit County Educational Service Center (SCESC) will once again recognize the area’s top educators, naming the 2015 All-Star Teaching Team and Teacher and Rookie of the Year during the eighth annual SCESC’s Education Celebration, which honors local educators who have positively impacted student learning. Nominations can be submitted online at www.cybersummit.org until May 29.
“We are pleased to host the eighth annual Education Celebration honoring our outstanding local teachers. We recognize the passion, patience, knowledge and skills required to be among the best in our area. Community members, colleagues, administrators, parents and students are welcome to nominate their outstanding educators,” said Summit County ESC Superintendent Linda Fuline.
Each SCESC member district will choose the top educator to represent their school district on the ESC’s All-Star Teaching Team, and from that group of educators, an independent committee will select the Summit County Area Teacher of the Year. Nominations for the Rookie of the Year can also be made for educators who have been teaching for less than three years and who display a passion for education, innovation and a commitment to student learning.
