The Curriculum and Instruction Department is committed to providing educators in and beyond Summit County with high quality staff development experiences and resources which lead to building individual and collective professional capacity for the improvement of student learning.
Our Vision
In order to fulfill our mission, the Curriculum and Instruction Department will function as a true professional learning community committed to research and data-based decision making, cooperation, collegiality, mutual support, and sensitivity to the needs of our stakeholders.
Our Goals
- Build individual and collective departmental capacity related to the most current and relevant educational issues in the State of Ohio.
- Enhance the departmental sense of professional learning community, as well as build individual and collective departmental capacity related to research-based instructional design.
